well... as the title implied, this wallpaper is built upon how men perceived life. partial and framed. the tree, semiotically, refers to the concept of life. and the orange, well... it's just a reference to the concept of 'vigor'... it's just another simple thing, made by a simple newbie :P

Well you know affection really is subjective, but I do think that the tree in the background is a bit too clear to convey society's misunderstanding of reality as your concept would suggest.

But then philosophy is often subjective, too.

I guess what I'd rather ask you, 'No, is : what are you aiming for? For a general audience to 'like' this wallpaper of yours, or for this wallpaper of yours to convey a certain 'message' you have to the world? Or both? I'd guess that knowing the answer to this question would help to better analyse which way you should take this visual concept of yours. But then again that's just me :p

ah well... it's just a 5 minutes work... trying to replicate an art i come to think of. it's experimental, and i try to embed my philosophies in it. so well, it's rather a half-hearted art/crapwork

But if you wanted, you could've gone further with it. Keep that in mind next time you have lots of time in your hand (as an alternative to creating something new)

Yep, I can see your idea here, and a good one it is too.
When I first glanced at it I thought it was just the framed parts making up a tree, but then i saw the faintness of the tree behind it all and didn't really like it as much.
