Now, i don't normally like the color pink. I think it's harmful to the eye. But this rose is a special instance. From so many flowers it produced, my newly grown pink rose finally grew a beautiful looking one. It still lacks of some phospate and nitrate, as you can see from the defect in the bottom right, but in time, it will produce a lovely rose.
After a 15 minutes treatment to the photograph, here's the end result, where the pink hue is softened and given the dramatic prominence against the naturally dark green background.
As the title implied, this rose was shot after a soft drizzle of rain, which brought up more sentimentality in me as i shot the photograph. Hm, the color, too, made me feel sentimental...
Photographed using Canon CX 330 [yes, the old-fashioned compact digital camera] and touched up with Photoshop CS2.
